The Pivoting Airline Tray™ is a newly patented concept that allows for adjustable angular airline tray positioning thus enabling the user to set carry-on items such as but not limited to books, magazines, newspapers, and portable electronic devices. By setting the item(s) on the angled tray, the user will be able to continuously view or use the item without having to continuously hold the item; this will enable greater ergonomic support and comfort for the passengers, especially on longer flights.

The concept is an improvement to the current design(s) of airline tray tables. The current functionality of tray tables would remain the same however added functions, the option to pivot the tray upwards and lock into a variety of different angular positions, would grant passengers much greater flexibility with their reading materials and computer/electronic items.

Licensees of this concept will be granted full design and engineering rights in order to adapt the product to their existing airline interiors and dimensions.
